Hi my name is Lisa and I work at the Quinte Humane Society in Belleville.

We have 7 abandoned piglets (left on doorstep of Agriculture Minister's office.)

Would you have space for any?

Thanks!

Quaker Oaks Farm Sancuary

Quaker Oaks Farm Sancuary

Red heartBlack Sheep

Quaker Oaks Farm is a menagerie, where we operate our family, business and “farm”.

The farm itself is home to animals young, old, big, small. It’s a sanctuary for rescues and misfits, and everyone gets to live out life in our care.

Our animals have come to us from all walks of life, unique - they have varying needs, and fantastic stories. They run about the barnyard, and are a big part of life here at Quaker Oaks. We are continuously working on developing the sanctuary, so we can offer educational visits, and programs. If you have any interests or would like to come and talk to some of the residents, give us a call and we can arrange a visit by appointment only. This is a private sanctuary, and we are very proud of our community of friends and its achievements.

Stuffed Olives

Get Stuffed?!

If you havn’t already tried our famous stuffed olives, its worth the visit just for a taste. At Quaker Oaks, we proudly prepare, hand stuffed olives fresh and full with flavour. Large, Sicilian, green Olives, rinsed of preserves, stuffed with fine ingredients, and rolled in olive oil and spices.

Olives are a wonderful thing to devour alone or share with friends at any time. Enjoy these on their own, or with food and drink - barbecues, appetizers, on pizzas, sandwiches/garlic bread, in martinis, as a hostess gift - honestly appropriate anytime and anywhere.

They are ready 4 you to eat…and share…and eat…so…

The Store

The Store Coffee cup

7 and a half km east of Sebright, 789 on the long and winding Monck Rd, our little red shop sits roadside, ushered in by a Betty-Boop statuette. In 1997 we turned our wooden shed into, a little shop where we could sell veggies and second hand goods as a small business. Over the years we have grown, and fantasised, and changed into an eclectic shop with much more fun to offer. Our home baking caught on, and catchy signs with promises of neat stuff and “coffee and a tart” brought you in. Now we have a lovely cult following of, olive lovers, customers, and friends. We are pround to see families return every year for their favourites, watch as they grow and see how we all change.

Inside you wont find your traditional cottage gift store, bakery, or coffee shop. It’s an eccentric colourful environment, stocked with, yummy, spontaneous, nostalgic, and creative finds. A perfect stop for sweet and salty types, gift coinsures, or who ever needs a “Tim Who” coffee break after long hours of driving.

We are open all year long, and the store keeps changing with every season.
